Warning for zones with bad connection
Feature description
Poor network connections may occur in certain areas, such as underground parkings, potentially causing challenges for users attempting to reserve a car. To assist users facing difficulties in starting their reservations in such locations, they should be notified about the weak network connection and provided with suggestions on how to proceed.
In the application
If a user makes a reservation for a vehicle situated in a home zone with poor network coverage, a pop-up will notify them to start the reservation before entering the home zone. Additionally, regardless if the home zone is set as a home zone with poor network connectivity, users experiencing a weak network signal when starting or ending their reservation will receive a pop-up recommending to move to a location with a better network connection.
Configuration in Control Center
To set a vehicle's homezone as a location with poor network coverage, go to the 'home zones' tab on control center and select the home zone. In the 'details' tab of a homezone, you will be able to see if a home zone has "poor network coverage". To edit this value, click on the edit button and switch "poor network coverage" on to enable it and off to dissable it.
