Alerts
General
Infomration about the statatus of the system is sent to third party systems automatically. There are two different kind of sources of this information, warnings from the control center and system messages.
Control Center warning alerts
The Control Center has a warnings page that shows warnings about the fleet. However the Control Center admins or the helpdesk team is not notified when a warning arises.
The TMF platform can integrate with other communication services to send automatic alerts using the external service as communication channel when certain conditions are met. The alerts are send by the TMF Business Intelligence and Monitoring server using the Grafana platform. In theory all notifiers supported by Grafana can be used as a communication service to receive alerts. A list of supported notifiers can be found here: Grafana notifiers
Currently Telegram and email alerts are used.
An alert can be send when certain conditions arise. Optionally an OK alert can be send when the conditions are not met again.
Type of alerts
Fleet alerts
Currently the following alerts are implemented. More alerts can be implemented on request.
- Reservation over time alert
- when a reservation exceeds its end time by 20 minutes
- Car not charging alert
- car not in use and not charging
- battery below 80% (number is customizable)
- Car not locked alert
- car not in use
- doors unlocked
- Car low board voltage alert
- on board battery voltage below 12V (number is customizable)
Server alerts
When a certain server is down an alert can be send.
Notification channels
One or more notification channels can be active for each alert.
One or more recipients can receive the email alerts. It is recommanded to setup an alias that forwards the emails to the personal emails of your helpdesk team. Alternatively every email address could be added seperatly but every modification to this list will have to go via support@themobilityfactory.coop.
Telegram
Alerts can be send to a telegram group chat.
System messages
The TMF platform can be configured to send emails when a certain event happens.
Type of Events
- new/update/cancelled reservation
- auto lock doors
- user registration
- in-app shop purchase
- user subscription about to end
- in-app chat messages coming from platform messaging system
Notification channels
For each Event the notification options can be configured:
- Send email to user (yes / no)
- Send email to external helpdesk (email adress / no)
The email messages can be configured in different languages in the Control Center under "templates" menu.
