Troubleshooting the APP

App version

Make sure you are using the latest available version of the app.

Read here how to do this.

You can use the version number in communication with the helpdesk & support.

Updates on Android

Automatic updates

To make sure you are always using the latest version you can turn on automatic updates.

  1. long press the app icon
  2. choose "more info"
  3. scroll down and choose "App-Details"
  4. Choose in the upper right corner for more option and check "auto-update"

Check manually for update

You can manually check if an update is available.

  1. open the play store app
  2. tab in the upper right corner your google profile picture
  3. choose "Manage apps & device"
  4. Tab "see details"
  5. Search for your carsharing app in the list and choose update

Updates on Apple iOS

Automatic updates

  1. Open the settings app
  2. Choose general
  3. Choose software updates
  4. Turn on the sliders for both downloading and installing

Check manually for update

  1. Open the app store
  2. Tab in the upper right corner your Apple profile picture
  3. Scroll down to "pending updates"
  4. Choose for you carsharing app in the list and tab "update"

Cache/App data issue

After a new APP release or significant configuration changes, old APP data stored on the phone can lead to the not desired behavior of the APP.

These are the step to follow:

1. Restart the APP

End and restart the APP

2. Delete APP data and cache

How to delete cache and APP storage Data on Android

  1. Open the Settings application on your device.
  2. Go to the Apps Menu.
  3. Choose Installed Applications.
  4. Find the Application you want to Clear the App Data of.
  5. Select it, Move to the Storage Tab.
  6. select Clear App Cache.

How to delete cache and APP storage Data on iPhone

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Select "General" and tap "iPhone Storage."
  3. Select the APP and tap "Offload App."

If this does not solve the problem, next step is to delete and reinstall the APP:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Select "General" and tap "iPhone Storage."
  3. Select the app you want to delete and tap "Delete App."
  4. Reinstall the APP
